Serene location surrounded by a beautiful lake. Marvelous gardens with intriguing antiques. Entertaining host and excellent cook. Comfortable historic home with shared spaces. Enjoyed meeting other travelers.

we did not want to leave there, would be happy to recommend. peaceful and beautiful location in his garden made it easy to get to key attractions.

Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. the location was peaceful, tucked away in its own little garden 🌳. Everything about our stay was fantastic.

The hotel was pretty, thoroughly enjoyed garden view from our double room. The room we had included a refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities, and a dining area. Everyone was excellent as well as host. The location of the property was lovely and stunning, in his garden👍🙂
